WORLD ANTI-TOBACCO DAY:
‘World Anti-Tobacco Day’ is observed around the world every year on May 31. The World No Tobacco Day is meant to encourage a 24-hour period of abstinence from all forms of tobacco consumption across the globe. This is not just a day to celebrate but it can help save thousands of lives and for this, we need to create awareness about how tobacco can ruin a person’s and their dear one’s life. In order to maintain a good healthily, you need to eat healthy, feel healthy. The products that give you pleasure for a while are the only product that will take your life away. Tobacco is one of those products which is harmful.
WHO(World Health Organization) has banned many advertisements, sponsorships, promotion of tobacco and its products through its annual celebration ideas and campaign for ANTI-TOBACCO DAY. According to the report by WHO, tobacco kills 6 million people all around the world.
EFFECTS OF TOBACCO IN HUMAN BODY:
Chewing tobacco leads to short-term health effects as well as long-term health effects. Short term effects include mouth ulcers, staining of teeth, cavities, mouth sores, bad breath this can make a person difficult to eat food. It also makes tongue senseless that a person can’t even taste and smell the food. A single use of tobacco causes dizziness that affects on persons day to day functional as well as physical activities. These short term diseases convert into long-term diseases if a person continues its habit of chewing tobacco. It causes major and severe problems like many types of cancer, lung disease, heart disease, stroke etc.
Only a healthy person can lead a good and happy life and will go very far in life. In order to lead a happy life, with the good food, you should not get addicted to a tobacco that makes you feel happy for a minute but takes your health away. You should value your life once you lost it you will never get it back
